King Von sadly passed away in 2020 after violence outside a hookah louge escalated into gunfire. Von was only 26 years old and just starting his career. The rapper’s posthumous album was released earlier this week and it appears it’s a massive hit.

On March 4th, King Von’s posthumous album, What It Means To Be King was released. The album consists 19 tracks from his collection of tracks he crafted up but didn’t manage to release them before his tragic death. The album features appearances from G Herbo, 21 Savage, Fivio Foreign, Lil Durk, Tee Grizzley, A Boogie Wit da Hoodie, Dreezy, Boss Top, DqFrmFaO, and OMB Peezy.

Recently, Chart Data released an interesting analytics on Von’s album sales. It appears Von will beat DaBaby and NBA YoungBoy Never Broke Again’s ‘BETTER THAN YOU’ in album sales by a massive margin. ‘BETTER THAN YOU’ is expected to sell 25-30K units in it’s first week in the US.

King Von’s ‘What It Means To Be King’ is looking at 60-65K first week sales in the US. It will be his highest charting album. It’s certainly a great news for his fans and close friends.
