Snoop Dogg is a well-known music business figure with a long list of achievements. The Doggfather is a talented individual in addition to his rapping abilities. Now, Ice T and Snoop Dogg think to link to relaunch the “Def Jam” fighting game.

For a long time, Def Jam has been begging for a fighting game. Since the latest edition, Def Jam Icon, bombed repeatedly after changing everything fans loved about the game back in 2007. The now-iconic fighting game franchise has been the subject of relaunch discussions.

But a lot has changed since then, including Def Jam’s entire roster, the music environment, and gaming in general, to mention a few. Regardless, there have been countless requests for the game to be resurrected as a sequel to Icon or as a whole new game. However, west coast legends Snoop Dogg and Ice T are more interested in a hypothetical franchise reboot.

Ice T speculated on Twitter that Def Jam may be relaunched and “be a huge hit all over again” if it returned to modern systems. The renowned rapper’s tweet went viral, attracting the attention of some of his contemporaries, including Snoop Dogg, who was also featured in the game. Snoop went a step farther and commented on the Shaderoom re-post.

“Def Jam, let me make it happen.I’m the only one capable. Of making it do what it do, I told you all this last year or do I have to make a death row. Game.”

It’s far too early to say whether Ice T’s efforts will result in a fresh new version of the beloved series, and we’ll have to wait a few more years to find out. What do you think this relaunch with Ice T will be possible or not. For further updates stay tuned to Thirsty.
