Sometimes crazy things happen on the show. Pat Sajak humorously walked off the set when a recent contestant won massive prizes. On the other side, sometimes a player will miss an infuriatingly easy puzzle that goes completely viral. Botches and mistakes are a part of the show’s charm.

That was the case for one unfortunate group of contestants on a recent episode of America’s Game. On Tuesday’s broadcast, three contestants spent over two minutes attempting to solve an incredibly easy puzzle. The obvious answer was “Another feather in your cap.”

Contestant Thomas hit the bankrupt space and lost a turn. With just two unrevealed letters on the board, the others struggled to make sense of what is a commonly used phrase in the English language. It was both flabbergasting and hilarious.

Laura guessed hat, lap, and map. Christopher guessed the letters G and D when it was pretty obvious that he was wrong. Sometimes the Wheel just gets the best of you.
