Adrian Peterson’s Wife Says He Didn’t Hit Her After Domestic Violence Arrest

Adrian Peterson has received the support of his wife after he was arrested for a domestic violence accusation. She claims that the NFL star did not hit her at any point. TMZ was the first to report.

Peterson was arrested on Sunday after he had an argument with his wife. According to the reports, things were said to have gotten physical to the point that the NFL star ended up going to jail.

Ashley, Peterson’s wife, is now of the claim that “at no point” did he hit her. However, Peterson’s arrest was followed after Ashley was seen with a small mark, which was spotted on her after their exchange, according to TMZ.

The NFL star’s wife took to Instagram in order to publicly absolve her husband of any accusations. She said that Adrian did not hit or strike her and talked about how they had a verbal argument while they were on the plane.

At no point did Adrian hit or strike me. Adrian and I had a verbal argument. Unfortunately, it was on an airplane. This is a private matter between my husband and myself. We ask that everyone respect out privacy so we can focus on what matters most: our children.

Peterson was booked on a charge of felony domestic violence. He’s maintained that he also did not hit Ashley and explained to FOX 26 Sports that the mark came from him taking the ring off Ashley’s finger as they argued.
