Joe Burrow left it all on the field during Super Bowl LVI. The Cincinnati Bengals quarterback played a solid game and his team had the lead down to the final minute and a half. In the end, his offensive line couldn’t hold up, and Aaron Donald and the Los Angeles Rams came back to win the championship.

Burrow’s girlfriend said she was still proud of him after the game. The Bengals had won just six games in their previous two seasons. They lost the Super Bowl, but Joe Burrow is a winner.

The fans of Cincinnati will have to wait at least another year to finally get that elusive first Super Bowl victory. Joe Burrow understands how long the city has been waiting. Burrow took to Twitter to send a message to his heartbroken fans.

“Sorry we couldn’t get it done. Proud of our team and our fans. Love these guys.”

Burrow completed 22 of 33 passes for 263 yards and a touchdown. The Bengals had the ball with under a minute to play and two timeouts left. The Rams pass rush ultimately proved too much for an exhausted Bengals offensive front.

The good thing is that Joe Burrow has plenty of football ahead of him. Joe said he’s going to use this year’s Super Bowl loss as fuel for the rest of his career. Burrow now knows what it’s like to lose the big game. He doesn’t intend on it happening again.
