Antonio Brown and Kanye West recently announced that they were getting into the sports business. AB was named president of Donda Sports, which Brown was more than happy to boast about on social media. It looks like the brand may have an eye on their first potential acquisition.

Brown started the season as a star NFL wide receiver with Tom Brady as his quarterback. After an on-field meltdown caused him to get thrown off the team, AB was spotted several times hanging out with Kanye West. Many believed it was related to Brown’s wannabe rap star status.

Instead, the two were planting the seeds for a sporting empire. Brown quickly became the point man for Donda Sports. Now, he’s tweeted that he wants to buy the Denver Broncos.

“Donda Sports want to buy the @Broncos who with me !”

There is no record of any professional sports franchise ever being bought or sold via social media. That didn’t stop Antonio. The brand president followed up with a tweet asking the NFL to call him.

That’s typically not how billion-dollar deals get done. It’s pretty likely that Antonio was just joking, or possibly putting out feelers. For now, the group aren’t considered serious contenders to buy the Broncos.
