Island Boys’ Flyysoulja Releases Statement On Friend Being Arrested

Flyysoulja, real name Alex Venegas, of the viral smash Island Boys lately found himself in an awkward situation. Their residence in Florida was recently raided by the police. It has resulted in the arrest of a suspect in the fatal drive-by shooting of an 8-year-old child.

Flyysoulja also spoke out against gun violence after discovering that his friend was jailed in connection with the shooting death of an eight-year-old girl. After it was thought that Andrew Thomas, a 20-year-old childhood buddy, was involved in the drive-by shooting killing of toddler Ron’Ziyah Atkins, authorities apprehended him.

Flyysoulja said that he is the father of a daughter. On a personal level, the gruesome murder of another kid horrified him. He now plans to use his platform to raise awareness about gang violence. Following the news, a representative for the Venegas brothers issued a statement.

I really didn’t expect nothing out of him like this. This is a big shock. We knew him as a quiet, quiet kid that would come around and do his thing. But apparently, you know, he was a little monster. I would never imagine in a million years that this person was going out there and doing these violent crimes on the street.

I just want to send my condolences to the family. It’s very sad. That’s pretty much all I wanna say. Gotta stop the gun violence. Gotta make sure that, you know, protect the youth out here. Stop the gang violence. It’s not worth it. We need to be good citizens out here and we need to guide the youth.

Flyysoujla caught up with TMZ and shared this message to the family of the victim, as well as the world. Police booked Thomas for gun possession, a probation violation in a separate robbery case, and first-degree murder after the drive-by shooting of a child in Palm Beach. Flyysoulja is taking the situation incredibly seriously.
