Bradley Beal is one of the Washington Wizards’ most clutch players. During the 2020-21 season, Beal had one of his best seasons, averaging 31.3 points, 4.7 rebounds, 4.4 assists, and 1.2 steals. Unfortunately, this season, Bradley got some injury on his left wrist and now he has to go under surgery.

Over the years, Bradley Beal and the Washington Wizards have experienced some bad luck. While Beal is unquestionably one of the finest shooting guards in the game, he hasn’t always been surrounded by the best players. The Wizards’ star has tried to carry the franchise on his shoulders, and it has resulted in some genuinely spectacular performances and numbers that have left NBA fans speechless in recent years.

Unfortunately, Beal has been suffering from an injury to his left wrist, and his season is now officially over. According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, Beal is having wrist surgery and will be out for the remainder of the season, thus putting the Wizards’ playoff chances on hold.

Beal has the option to sign a five-year, $245 million contract next season adds intrigue to the issue. This would make him one of the highest-paid players in the league, but he might choose to take less money elsewhere in order to try to land a spot on a club that has a chance to make a long playoff run.
