Steph Curry is mounting an MVP case has been doing better as the days go by. Curry showed his magic in the Kings Vs Warriors matchup but bled as he was struck by Buddy Hield who was guarding him.

The Golden State Warriors are having a great season as they are rolling in the Western Conference with a record of 40-13. With Steph Curry and Klay Thompson in the lineup, the Warriors can certainly do no wrong at the moment. Amid all the good news, Curry got whacked in the face which resulted in minor bleeding from his face.

Curry was driving to the basket, when all of a sudden, he got tapped in the face by Hield, who was guarding him. Curry immediately went down and the play had to be stopped for a bit as he was bleeding. Eventually, he got back into the game and finished off the evening with a respectful 20 points.

Although the Kings weren’t that big of an opponent, the Warriors came out and put up an amazing fight for the fans to enjoy. The main highlights came from Klay Thomspon who scored 17 points in just nine minutes. Klay drained four shots from beyond the arc in the second quarter as he and Curry had combined for 28 points.

From the looks of it, the Warriors are favorites to win it all. After not being able to qualify for the playoffs for straight two seasons, they have finally bounced back to take the lead. To make it to the finish line first they still have to remain at the top of their game.

The small injury to Curry could be very well put aside as the Warriors move closer to the trophy. Steph and Klay must be firing on all cylinders to take their team past the racing line.
