Blake Shelton was one of the most successful country music artists of 2021. Blake balanced that aspect of his career with his duties as a controversial coach on The Voice. Blake is one of the most recognizable faces in the entire genre.
Long before he was a television staple with a rock star wife, Blake was a simple country boy. In a throwback picture he shared on social media recently, Shelton showed off his rebellious side as a long-haired youngster. Fans couldn’t believe what they were seeing.

Blake Shelton’s fans were thrilled to see their favorite singer keeping in touch with his OG country roots. The photo was a reference to his new song, “Come Back as a Country Boy.” The new track has quickly become a favorite.
Blake Shelton may be older and more famous, but he’ll always be a country boy to his fans. The reaction to the old-school look has to have Blake smiling from ear to ear. Blake’s fans are digging the retro aesthetic.
