Dave Portnoy’s name being in the news never seems to be a good thing. The Barstool Sports founder faced serious accusations of sexual assault back in November. It’s been relatively quiet since then. Now, a wave of new allegations has come to light.

Julia Black of Business Insider broke the initial story. Two women had accused Portnoy of sexual assault. Dave responded with a meandering video on social media where he categorically denied the charges.

In the latest report, Dave Portnoy has been accused of sexual assault by a further three women. All of them say Portnoy filmed sexual encounters without their consent. One of the alleged victims claims Dave broke her rib.

Portnoy fired back with a post on Barstool Sports. The extremely controversial figure once again denied any accusations. Dave said he planned to sue Business Insider.

“Somebody has to be the guy who says enough is enough. A guy who is willing to burn to make sure his enemies burn with him. Because if I’ve said it once I’ve said it a thousand times. I’m willing to blow up my own ship as long as everybody I hate sinks with me too.”

Dave Portnoy continues to maintain his innocence. Portnoy contends that every sexual encounter he’s had has been consensual. We’ll see if his legal threats have any teeth as this story continues to develop.
