Lil Durk has been busy working on his latest release for a while now. The rapper has also found time for a nasty feud with NBA YoungBoy. In the interim, Durk got engaged to long-time partner India Royale. The new album will be the icing on the cake of a very interesting period in his career.

Durk has also crossed over from the hip-hop charts. Along with country star Morgan Wallen, Lil Durk produced a hit with “Broadway Girls.” Fans have been waiting patiently to see what will come next.

Durk recently announced that his new record was finished via social media. The rapper also dropped the back story for the album’s title, “7220.” The name is a tribute to his grandmother’s address where it all started.

“7220 my granny address the house it all started in – album done”

Lil Durk could be seen rocking the 7220 logo on a blue baseball hat. No further details were announced in terms of a track list. A release date was also not given.

Durk will embark on a 17-stop tour across the United States to promote the album. The live shows begin on April 8th in Phoenix. The new record will likely drop before then. Lil Durk fans should have some new music to groove to by the time the tour begins.
