Kanye West is well known for his raps as well as for giving controversial statements. When it comes to being a businessman, Kanye West has proven to be a great genius. Kanye West recently claimed that he has no interest in making NFTS.

Kanye West has decided not to join the NFT bandwagon. The Yeezy billionaire has stated that he does not want to create a non-fungible token. Ye took to Instagram on Monday, January 31, to express his thoughts on the digital fad.

“STOP ASKING ME TO DO NFT’s I’M NOT FINNA CO-SIGN. FOR NOW I’M NOT ON THAT WAVE I MAKE MUSIC AND PRODUCTS IN THE REAL WORLD.”

“My focus is on building real products in the real world, real clothes, rap shelter. Do not ask me to do a fu**ing NFT.”

Many of his contemporaries have gotten in on the NFT craze, including Eminem, who paid $462,000 for an ape sketching NFT that looks like him. Justin Bieber spent $1.29 million on his NFT at the Bored Ape Yacht Club.

Future is executive producing DONDA 2, and Ye has been hard at work on it. Kanye recently announced that he will be without a phone until the album’s release on February 22.

“I don’t have a phone until 2.22.22. My focus is taking my kids to school and finishing the album.”

Digital Nas, a DONDA 2 contributor, spoke with Rolling Stone about the creative process of developing a sequel to last year’s DONDA.

“These are the directives for the album: ‘If it cannot be played at a funeral, childbirth, graduation, a wedding, it will not be on our record.’ We learned a lot from DONDA 1. We learned what hit. We learned what was sticking. So we took from there. It has to be able to be played at four major moments in people’s lives.”

So, DONDA 2 is about to release. Are you excited to hear a blast? For further updates stay tuned to Thirsty.
