Kim Kardashian launched her shapewear company Skims in 2019. In three years the company has garnered widespread popularity and acclaim as an innovative “solutions oriented” brand. It is now the most valuable brand in the shapewear industry.

Kim’s underwear brand SKIMS is officially worth $3.2 billion dollars. This is due to doubling the value of the three-year-old brand after sales surged 90% in the past year to about $275 million. The brand is expected to reach $400 million by 2022, bringing the overall funding for Kim’s company to $402 million. 

Kim Kardashian’s brand has been moving up quite fast in the fashion world. Recently, SKIMS even collaborated Italian luxury fashion house Fendi and of course, buyers are all for it.

The sales pulled 7-figures in just one minute due to Kardashian’s passionate fan base that hyped over the esteemed collaboration for months. More than 300,000 people signed up to be on the waitlist ahead of the launch. Nicki MinajMegan Fox and Kourtney Kardashian have all modeled for SKIMS.

SKIMS is all about creating the next generation of underwear, loungewear and shapewear. SKIMS is also continuing its collaboration with Team USA for the upcoming 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing. Kardashian began her partnership with the Olympics team by creating a limited-edition collection of underwear, loungewear, and shapewear for the athletes competing in the 2020 Summer Olympics and Paralympic Games in Tokyo.
