Kim Kardashian launched her shapewear company Skims in 2019. In three years the company has garnered widespread popularity and acclaim as an innovative “solutions oriented” brand. Recently SKIMS collaborated Italian luxury fashion house Fendi and buyers are all for it.

The limited collection launched on November 9th. The sales pulled 7-figures in just one minute due to Kardashian’s passionate fan base that hyped over the esteemed collaboration for months. More than 300,000 people signed up to be on the waitlist ahead of the launch. Megan Fox and Kourtney Kardashian also modeled for SKIMS.

SKIMS is all about creating the next generation of underwear, loungewear and shapewear. SKIMS focuses on being comfortable, shaping and sexy. According to Kim Kardashian and Kim Jones (Fendi Artistic Director), the collab “unites the luxury of Fendi with the innovation of Skims,” and as is now customary with her Skims drops, Kardashian has modeled the pieces herself.

In the opening minute, the fashion combo racked up $1 million in sales. According to TMZ everything in the collection is already essentially sold out. The Numbers are putting this collaboration on track to be the biggest launch day in the short history of Kim’s brand.

Items in the collection range from $100 to $4,200. Including the $4,200 leather dress which was also designed by Fendi’s Kim Jones. Kim K wore the dress earlier this month for the Wall Street Journal Magazine’s 2021 Innovator Awards, where she received an honor for her SKIMS line. TMZ reports that the dress has sold out.
