Jason Momoa is currently going through a difficult time dealing with his divorce. However, its not all bad news for Jason. The 10th installment of Universal’s Fast & Furious action movie series is apparently looking for more muscle.

Jason Momoa is going to get even busier as Aquaman 2 wraps up. Momoa is in talks to star as Fast & Furious’s villians. The Hollywood Reporter revealed the news, with sources telling Deadline the same. Vin Diesel wanted Dwayne Johnson to return to the franchise and reportedly courted him both privately and publicly via social media but Johnson denied.

Although plot details are still unconfirmed and Universal had no comment, It could be very much possible. This will be quite different from the good-guy roles Mamoa recently got into like Duncan Idaho in Dune and of course, Aquaman. As Mamoa himself mentioned, his character in Dune gave him a chance to explore his loving, fatherly side.

Justin Lin, who returned to the franchise with 2021’s F9: The Fast Saga, is back in the director’s seat. Vin Diesel and Lin are producing. Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris and Sung Kang are returning to the franchise that debuted in 2001. Charlize Theron is also expected to be back.

Jason Momoa’s role as Khal Drogo was surely rugged and his other “bad-ass” roles may fall into the anti-hero category but not necessarily villainous. As the script is still a work in progress, it is unclear whether Momoa’s part is of a good guy or purely antagonistic in nature, or perhaps a bit of both.
