Vin Diesel wants Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson to return for the 10th movie in the Fast and the Furious franchise. The two Hollywood heavyweights have had a very public feud over the course of time. Many co-stars and crew even thanked The Rock for standing up to Diesel.

After Vin invited The Rock to bury the hatchet yesterday, fans tore the actor to shreds via social media. Fans suggested that Johnson should simply beat up Vin Diesel. Others called the message emotional manipulation.

“It is 100% coming off as emotional manipulation “Little brother” – I am better “Pablo/Paul Walker” – guilt tactic “No one else can play hobbs” – non affirmation. Doesn’t actually say he is a good addition. Classic.”

“Walking Paul Walker’s daughter down the isle: Sweeter part of the cult. Sign me up!

This: Who do you think you’re talking to like that?! Kick his cultish ass, uncle Dwayne!”

“So the crybaby is trying to guilt trip The Rock after he slammed him. Vin is jealous of Rock’s success and needs him for a paycheck.”

Vin Diesel says it’s The Rock’s destiny to play Hobbs in the film. That sounds quite underwhelming for one of the highest grossing leading men in the movie industry. The Rock hasn’t responded to Diesel’s message, but the fans certainly have. It’s probably not what Vin was expecting.
