Jon Jones is considered one of the best fighters in the history of the UFC for many fans. Since early last year, Jones had made it his life’s mission to go after Francis Ngannou’s UFC Heavyweight Championship. Jones has also been on a mission to get paid.

Bones Jones had been working very hard to make it to the Heavyweight division in the UFC. The journey has certainly been a very difficult one for him. It was even said that he was iced for speaking up about fighter pay.

For the past few months, Jon Jones has made it clear that he wants to return to the Octagon this year and even recently revealed that he plans on becoming a champion in 2022.

Jon Jones also ripped Francis Ngannou for his performance at UFC 270. While speaking to ESPN MMA, UFC President Dana White was asked about booking Jon Jones vs Francis Ngannou. White stated that he will definitely try to make the fight happen if it’s possible.

“Listen, the heavyweight fight wasn’t a fight you’re gonna be talking about for years. It wasn’t what I thought it was going to be. I thought it was going to be a lot more stand-up. But it was a brilliant game plan by Francis, to do what he did, the way that he did it. And I don’t know, I’m hoping that will be one of the big fights this year. So, if we can pull this off, we definitely will.”

Dana White confirmed Jon Jones is nowhere near the UFC Heavyweight Title picture. We will have to wait and see who Jon Jones’ next opponent will be, should he return this year.
