NLE Choppa was recently knocked out by a seemingly random person while walking through an airport. The entire the situation was caught on camera. In the clip, a young female could be heard screaming a phrase made famous by YoungBoy NBA.

NLE recently spoke with DJ Akademiks where he attempted to clarify the situation. According to him, the attacker wasn’t a YoungBoy fan at all. The entire thing was a misunderstanding.

“He wasn’t a Young Boy fan. That’s why I hate the media. Because they twist sh*t up… So, it was another female that was with him that came, like, around the corner, and was like, ‘Oh, NLE just knocked him out!’ She looked like she was twelve or something. And she was like ‘4K Trey! 4K Trey!

I don’t know what made her want to say that. I don’t know what made her really want to say that. But, that’s what she said. So, with that video, the media heard ‘4-kay-trey’ and flipped it to a Young Boy fan.”

NBA YoungBoy has had beef with NLE Choppa in the past. Never Broke Again even threatened him in a recent song. The heat between the two has been heavy.

The airport incident had nothing to do with it if NLE Choppa is to be believed. An uninvolved party who was traveling with the person who attacked him simply started yelling NBA YoungBoy’s gang-related phrases. NLE is hoping the next time he gets knocked out by a fan, the media gets it right.
