Celebrity Big Brother 3 is a spin-off of the American version of Big Brother, as well as the American version of Celebrity Big Brother. The third season of “Celebrity Big Brother” premieres on February 2. There are a lot of rumors about who will be on the show, but some of those have now been debunked.

CBS has yet to reveal which celebrities will enter the “Big Brother” house next week, but that hasn’t stopped fans from speculating. On January 28, the @InsiderCBB Twitter account tweeted a list of fourteen celebrities who would allegedly appear on the show. The tweet received over 12,000 retweets and 10,000 likes, but some of its claims have already been debunked.

Track and field sprinter Sha’Carri Richardson and former White House communications director Hope Hicks were two of the celebrities who @InsiderCBB claimed would appear on the third season of “Celebrity Big Brother.” Meredith McGraw, a POLITICO correspondent, tweeted that Hope Hicks and Sean Spicer, the former White House press secretary, would not be joining the cast.

“Was wondering why Hope Hicks was trending on Twitter…seems a fake account tweeted she and Sean Spicer among others were joining Celebrity Big Brother (they are not).”

Sha’carri Richardson, who was disqualified from competing in the 2020 Summer Olympics due to cannabis use, will also not appear on the show. Ashley Blackwood, Richardson’s rep, revealed the reason to TMZ.

“Sha’Carri was contacted months ago to be on Big Brother and declined. All coverage on her participating are false and simply just rumors.”

On January 24, the official CBS Twitter account tweeted, “This one time we heard @JCMoonves say that she followed CBS Twitter…so we followed CBS Twitter,” tagging “Big Brother” host Julie Chen Moonves. Chen Moonves retweeted the tweet and added, “Let’s just say, I’d strongly suggest it,” along with a gif of Mary Poppins sipping tea. She appears to be implying that fans should keep an eye on the CBS Twitter account for the cast list.

Tamra Judge of “Real Housewives of Orange County” appears to have inadvertently leaked some “Celebrity Big Brother” casting information. On her Instagram story, she posted a screenshot of her notes for an upcoming episode of the podcast she co-hosts with Teddi Mellencamp. Fans immediately noticed that the notes said “big brother announcement episode,” implying that either Judge or Mellencamp will appear on the third season of “Celebrity Big Brother.”

Fans must be patient and wait for the official cast list to be revealed. To get the latest updates, keep an eye on Thirsty.
