Conway The Machine denies any conflict with Eminem’s label, Shady Records. This is despite rumors that he has departed from the music company. Conway The Machine teased a new freestyle rapping over Kanye West’s Donda single “Jail,” in which he discusses his ties with Kanye and Eminem.

The Griselda rapper says in the tune that he felt awful about calling Eminem fans “nerds and stans” during a VladTV interview in 2019. He then admits that he gets along better with Kanye West than he does with Eminem, but that he has no grudges against the Detroit rap legend.

Would you love me if you knew the old me? Before the bag, before the rollie/Before I signed a deal with Shady with the rollie/Speaking of Shady, man, after my interview I did with Vlad I felt awful/But I learned you gotta watch what you say in interviews, it could cost you.

One could say my relationship better with Ye than with Marshall. But I still ain’t nothing bad to ever say about Marshall/Just keeping it funky, I’m thankful for Marshall.

Conway The Machine is said to be unleashing a new album before his Shady Records debut God Don’t Make Mistakes drops on February 25, according to content curator Riki P. In 2017, Eminem’s Shady Records signed Conway The Machine to a deal.

He revealed a track-list for God Don’t Make Mistakes in July 2021, which includes Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, T.I., Jill Scott, Benny The Butcher, Westside Gunn, Alchemist, Hit-Boy, Daringer, Bink!, and J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League, but there’s no word on whether the same songs will appear on the final version. In August 2021, Kanye West teamed with Conway The Machine for his Donda album, with the Buffalo native spitting a verse alongside Westside Gunn on “Keep My Spirit Alive.”
