Gunna is on fire since dropping his latest album last weekend. DS4EVER has taken over the Billboard Hot 100 chart. There are currently 15 out 19 songs from the record on the famous hit list. Fans were stunned when Gunna chose to compete with one major release. Gunna can now claim full vindication.

DS4EVER was released on the same day as hit machine The Weeknd’s Dawn FM. Gunna sold 144,000 copies during his album’s debut week. That was 2,000 units more than Weekend’s new release.

Hits Daily Double now reports that Gunna will outduel The Weeknd for yet another week. DS4EVER is expected to lose the #1 spot atop the album chart as the Encanto soundtrack will take over the lead. The Weeknd is on pace to fall in at #3.

Gunna is never afraid to go huge when it comes to everything in his life. From expensive gifts to buying expensive NFTs just because he can, Gunna is proving to be a huge seller in the rap world. Big money follows big success.

The Weeknd is an incredibly talented artist who sells boatloads of records. Gunna can now claim that he beat one of the most acclaimed acts in the industry. Gunna isn’t some random guy off the street. He’s a bona fide star.

We’ll keep an eye on what Gunna has up his sleeve next. It might make sense just to ride the wave of success for a while. Gunna is seeing dollar signs and might never take a break.
