Gunna was hoping for a massive success with his new album DS4EVER. The record faced huge competition from The Weeknd in its first week. Gunna’s release ended up moving 144,000 copies. DS4EVER is a smash hit by any measure.

This week’s Billboard Hot 100 is littered with Gunna tracks. 15 out of the 19 songs on the new album are listed on this week’s chart. It doesn’t seem that competing with The Weeknd’s Dawn FM had any affect.

“Pushin P” with Young Thug reached #7 on the Hot 100. The collab with Future, “Too Easy” hit #16. The lowest chart debut was “Die Alone” at #92.

Most artists would give their entire career to have one sing hit the Hot 100. Gunna currently has more than a baker’s dozen. It’s been a great start to 2022 with the release of DS4EVER.
