Ben Simmons continues to try and escape from Philadelphia. The 76ers have been working on some sort of trade package to get Simmons to somewhere he is more comfortable. Ben’s agent, Rich Paul, was in Philadelphia to discuss the matter before their January 12th game.

Paul took in the game between Philly and the Charlotte Hornets from a courtside seat. Paul was heckled by Sixers fans for the entire game. The famously rude Philadelphia partisans heckled and taunted the agent throughout the evening.

Fans are angry that Paul is playing hardball with the team. Ben Simmons has refused to play a single game for Philadelphia all season. They’re hoping Rich Paul can get something done.

Rich Paul could be holding the 76ers season hostage. The team has been extremely competitive so far. Players who actually participate in team activities and games could only make them better. Until Ben Simmons gets moved, there is a wasted roster spot that could be filled by a useful player.

Ben Simmons doesn’t appear to have any interest in playing for Philadelphia again. Simmons did recently get engaged to Maya Jama, so at least his personal life is moving along. Rich Paul was the one who had to hear about it on Wednesday night.

Time will tell if the Philadelphia 76ers are able to trade Ben Simmons. Several deals have been proposed. The team could really use some extra help as they make a run towards the playoffs. The Philly fans had no problem letting Rich Paul know about it.
