In the last two weeks, YoungBoy Never Broke Again has released two tracks including Friday’s “Emo Love” and last week’s “Fish Scale” music video. After the songs caught on with the audience, he announced that he would be releasing a mixtape in the next two weeks starting Jan. 5.

It seems that a song on his upcoming mixtape could include DaBaby as a feature. Fans have often complained that in DaBaby’s superstar career he has never switched up his flow since his first hit single “Suge.”

The rapper appears to take notice of this as in a preview of his collaboration with NBA YoungBoy he teased a new sound. The song is apparently titled “Call The Fireman”. DaBaby posted the video of the snippet on Twitter and claimed if his fans commented “YB better” 10,000 times, he and YoungBoy would drop the song.

It seems fans soon got to work as it has already over 700 retweets. The new flow that he and YB used on the unreleased track reminded fans of the ad-lib heavy, high energy cadence style of music of Playboi Carti.

This sound Carti popularized has started to inspire many acts in the industry. However, some reactions to DaBaby’s post seem to show fans discontent with DaBaby stealing this sound. Meanwhile, it is still unclear as to when “Call The Fireman” will drop. You can check out some of the reactions to YB’s tweet below.
