Dick Vermeil knows a thing or two about the National Football League. The long-time head coach spent 15 years in the NFL to go along with a long career working his way up through the college ranks. Vermeil won a Super Bowl in 1999 with the Rams. The legendary coach has seen almost everything.

Antonio Bryant recently behaved in a way that has placed his career in jeopardy. Brown left the field in the middle of his Tampa Bay Buccaneers victory over the New York Jets last Sunday. His head coach Bruce Arians immediately said Brown was done with the team.

Vermeil doesn’t think Brown is just done with the Bucs. The Super Bowl winning coach believes Antonio Brown’s entire pro football career is over. TMZ Sports talked to Dick Vermeil recently and he doesn’t sound optimistic about AB’s future.

“I can’t believe somebody would [sign Brown]. A man demonstrates what he is by what he does and he answered everybody’s evaluation questions when we saw him doing that stuff…

I have never in my 30-something years of coaching from high school, junior college, Division I and the NFL — I have never seen anything like that.

It takes a lot to produce a moment that not even Dick Vermeil has seen. Antonio Brown pulled an unprecedented stunt that cost him his job. It will be extremely difficult for the diva receiver to make an NFL comeback.

Do you think Antonio Brown will ever play again? Let us know in the comments!
