Nate Diaz remains one of the most legitimate fighters to have ever stepped foot inside the Octagon. Diaz last competed against Jorge Masvidal for the “BMF” title at UFC 244 back in November 2019. He lost the match via doctor’s stoppage, but he is far from finished in the fight game. Diaz also has lofty ambitions after retiring from MMA.

At UFC 263, Nate Diaz finally made his return to the Octagon as he squared off against Leon Edwards. Unfortunately for Diaz, his return didn’t quite go the way that he wanted to as Diaz lost the fight. Nate Diaz had also made it clear that he wants to compete in the Octagon again within the next few months.

Many fans also wonder what will become of Nate Diaz in the UFC as he only has one more match left in his contract. It was then said that he is likely to sign a new contract with the UFC.

While speaking on his YouTube channel, Francis Ngannou shared his thoughts on Nate Diaz’s personality. Ngannou stated that he considers Diaz to be a crazed psychopath.

“Nate Diaz? Man, I don’t know how to describe Nate Diaz. I think he’s just a psychopath. He’s just crazy. He doesn’t give a s*** about anything. And I love that part of him, you know. He’s just there to fight, have fun. He doesn’t care if he wins… or if he loses, you know. He just wants to have fun, enjoy and nobody could tell him what to do. He does exactly what he wants to do. That’s it. [He] doesn’t care at all.”

Nate Diaz also recently revealed a fight with Dustin Poirier won’t happen. It remains to be seen what is next in store for the legendary UFC fighter.
