Andy Cohen Called Out By Fans For Erratic Behavior During New Year’s Eve Broadcast

Andy Cohen’s first day of the year isn’t going so well. Cohen is making news on New Year’s Eve when he and Anderson Cooper took shots on live television. Fans questioned if he truly became inebriated or if it was the result of cocaine use.

Cohen appeared intoxicated during CNN‘s live New Year’s Eve show. The Bravo producer and his journalist BFF looked to be having a good time together. Fans appeared to enjoy every minute of it. Cohen made several off-handed remarks and went on a couple of rather spectacular rants throughout the program.

“If you look behind me, you’ll see Ryan Seacrest’s group of losers performing. I’m sorry but if you’re watching ABC, you’re watching nothing.”

Later that night, Cohen slammed former New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio. Cooper was seen pleading with Andy not to go on a rant, but Andy ignored him.

“Watching Mayor de Blasio go on his ‘victory lap dance’ after four years as the crappiest term of the mayor of New York.”

“Don’t go on a rant.”

“After four years of the crappiest term as the mayor of New York. The only thing that Democrats and Republicans can agree on is what a horrible mayor he has been. So sayonara, suckah.”

Several individuals rushed to social media to critique Cohen’s ranting on live television. While many people thought Cohen was extremely amusing, others suspected he was high and alleged he used coke before going live.

“Is he on coke again like he was last year?” 

“Cocaine is a hell of a drug.”

“Coked out, not drunk. His usual.”

“Sounds like coke voice to me.”

“I swear every year this dude has a coked up New Years rant.”

“Andy was coked out. HDTV don’t lie.”

Cohen woke up rather early on January 1, 2022, and has already admitted to his night out. “I was a hair over-served last night, but the man did I have fun! I hope you did too. Happy New Year everybody,” he captioned an Instagram photo including stills from his and Cooper’s New Year’s Eve program.

It’s not the first time Cohen has been accused of taking cocaine. Kathy Griffin said in 2017 that Cohen gave her cocaine before she appeared on “Watch What Happens Live!.” Cocaine is extremely harmful to one’s health, and if Andy is using it, he should quit immediately.
