Justin Bieber had a scary moment recently. While he was performing at the Jingle Bell Ball at London’s O2 arena, a fan rushed the stage. He attempted to take a selfie with the singer.

Within moments, security was on top of the rogue fan. Bieber turned around in confusion to see what was going on. Security dragged the fan off stage in a hurry, according to a report from TMZ.

The identity of the fan is not yet known. Justin Bieber wasn’t injured in the incident. Public information on any possible arrest is scarce.

The Jingle Bell Ball was a huge, two-day celebration of the holidays. The famed London arena brought in tons of big names for the event. Coldplay, Ed Sheeran, Lil Nas X, and more performed at the festive show.

Just Bieber has not commented on the incident. It appears his security team was ready at a moment’s notice. The fan never got that close to the singer.

Fans were reminded of a similar incident at a Maroon 5 concert. A woman jumped on stage and attempted to hug singer Adam Levine. He reacted with seeming disgust.

Fans should never try and make themselves a part of the show. Whether it’s a concert or a pro wrestling event, there’s no reason to put the performers at risk. Fortunately for the Beebs, his security had his back.
