Wack 100 has long been a defender of Tekashi 6ix9ine. In 2019, he complained that authorities were treating the rapper like a gang member while he was just a normal guy. He claims that the two have over $43 million in outstanding business.

In July, the business manager confirmed that he was working with 6ix9ine. Now, he’s told DJ Akademiks that they’re business partners. The two had a talk and Ak shared the conversation on social media. HipHopDX reported on the story.

“I’m more of a business partner. A few things have popped up where I’ve had to assist him, but I’m more of a business partner. The artists I manage, I’m responsible for their day-to-day. I don’t give a f*ck what I’m doing. If my mom in the hospital, whatever, I’m responsible.”

In September, Wack 100 said during a Clubhouse visit that he was helping 6ix9ine work on his next business ventures. He made everything sound very big. Overseas tours, movies, and more were part of the discussions. He said he only takes 25% of the cut.

“In the last 45 days, I probably done set up $43 million of business and I ain’t seen the kid. I’m talking about big movies, European tours, renegotiated his album terms all through attorneys and email. Forty-five more days, sh*t’s gonna start being announced to drop and release, and I need him to keep talking about it to keep it hot. I just get my little 25 percent. I ain’t trippin’.”

You can check out Wack 100’s talk with Akademiks below. It sounds like he’s trying hard to rehabilitatethe rapper’s career. He obviously sees money there.
