Former NFL player Johnny Manziel has officially parted ways with Bre Tiesi, whom he had been married for three years, according to TMZ. The two got hitched in 2018 but announced their split after a year.

Documents from a California court show the two finalized their divorce earlier this month. Tiesi opened up about her split with Manziel, saying the two are “still cool” and communicate often and that she wishes him nothing but the best.

Manziel, on the other hand, credited the Los Angeles model with saving his life in the past. He said his marriage and divorce helped him grow as a person. The two have since dated other people, with Tiesi reportedly seeing Jennifer Lopez’s ex, Casper Smart.

“I wouldn’t be here right now if it wasn’t for my relationship and getting married,” Manziel said at the time. “I wouldn’t have the same attitude towards everything else if I wouldn’t have gone through the divorce and stuff, too, if I wouldn’t have gone through that with Bre. 100% there’s no chance.”

The two started seeing each other in 2016 and the FCF Zappers quarterback proposed to Tiesi in March 2017. They got married a year later but decided to call things off in 2019.
