Kid Rock has always been a Devil Without A Cause, but now he’s plenty pissed off about culture itself, cancel culture to be extact.

The rapper turned rocker turned country star hates political correctness and it’s not shy about letting people know about it. He’s getting into it with his music, even more than he already was.

The American Badass himself dropped his latest track, ‘Don’t Tell Me How to Live.’ In that song he takes a huge shot at PC culture and the Karens who cancel. His lyrics make a pretty bold point.

“So what the f***’s up with all the backlash? // You snowflakes, here’s a news flash!” … it’s pretty on the nose. In fact, he gets even more direct … singing, “And, these minions and their agendas // Every opinion has a millennial offended // But this amendment one, it rings true // And if you don’t dissent, bitch, then see number two.”

That is quite a statement and not the kind of thing you hear every day anymore. Needless to say, he didn’t drop this song for radio airplay.

H Jenkins

Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News opened the door for a new opportunity for Jenkins. With a history in finance, he broke into the journalism game by writing on blogs and other freelance websites before branching into sports and entertainment news. Being in tune with pop culture doesn't mean it has to make sense, but he tries. Favorite bands include any group from Seattle who formed between 1991 and 1999. 5 Ozzfests under his belt and 12 Warped Tours, but his last concert was a bluegrass AC/DC cover band that was not 100% terrible.
