Jake Hager Denies Grapping Match With Jon Jones Is Official

Jon Jones surprised us all when he tweeted out to say that December 5th will see him take on AEW star Jake Hager in a grappling match. This match between the UFC legend and the undefeated Bellator fighter was supposedly a done deal. That is not Hager’s story.

Jake Hager tweeted out to clear up the story. We’re not sure if there is a different version of events going around, but Hager claims that no terms have been agreed upon to have this grapping encounter with Jon Jones.

First of all it’s @AEWonTNT and undefeated @BellatorMMA heavyweight Jake Hager, secondly no terms have been discussed or contract signed. We can talk if terms are right.

This Hager vs Jones grappling match might go down for Fury Grapping, but that is unclear at this time. There could be more to this story as they talk about details. Right now it seems that there are some loose ends they need to tie up.
