DJ Akademiks Loses Influential Instagram Account

DJ Akademiks is one of the biggest social media influencers in the entire hip-hop game. It’s been seen by fans as a one-stop shop for all the gossip, beef, and news they’re looking for. Now, the @akademiks account has vanished completely.

When users try to visit the Instagram, it simply returns a message that says the page isn’t available. Akademiks has a secondary account, @iamakademiks. He went there to let fans know that he’s as in the dark as they are.

Akademiks is one of the most cited sources in hip-hop news. He’s opinionated, and often finds himself at the center of the very public beefs he covers. He has a huge following, and his influence is undeniable.

It’s unknown if Akademiks was banned from the site or some sort of mistake or technical glitch occurred. If it was a ban, it makes no sense, as the secondary account is verified, so they know it exists. The whole thing is a gigantic mystery.

Hopefully, Instagram gets back to Akademiks soon. It would be a shame to a following he worked so hard for just disappear for no reason. Fans will have to sit tight for now as we await further updates on the account.
