Tom Brady has revealed the reason behind his brief post-game media appearance, according to Heavy. The seven-time Super Bowl champion attended the presser following Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ crushing defeat at the hands of Washington Football Team.

However, his media appearance lasted a little over a minute – one minute and 43 seconds to be exact. NBC Sports Washington even aired a segment on Brady’s brief presser, mentioning the number of words he spoke as well as his clothing choice for the media appearance.

The 44-year-old gave his take on the matter in addition to sharing his thoughts on Sunday’s loss against Washington Football Team. He made the comments while speaking on his Let’s Go! podcast with host Jim Gray.

“I think that’s a real challenge for me especially as I’ve gotten older because the expectations are so high,” he said. He continued, “I think when you win, it’s a relief, and when you lose, it’s a real disappointment.”

The iconic NFL player even joked about moving his podcast from Monday to Friday because “Mondays after losses suck.” Buccaneers lost to Washington 19-29 Sunday. Check out Brady’s postgame presser below:
