Tara Reid Reveals Whether American Pie Castmates Hooked Up

Tara Reid, who played Vicky in the iconic American Pie franchise, has shared an interesting behind the scenes story from the 1999 classic movie. According to the 46-year-old, she and her co-stars remained strictly professional during the filming of American Pie.

“Not one of us hooked up with anyone,” she told Page Six. “I can put that on the record. She revealed one of the reasons the cast members didn’t hook up with each other was because “we started so young.”

“[For] a lot of people, it was their first movie. And we became more of like a family, and brother and sister. It’s, like, you wouldn’t date your brother. There was just this certain amount of respect and no hooking up at all.”

She added that most cast members including Reid herself were seeing people outside the movie at the time of the shooting. “When you do a movie, it’s not about that. It’s about making a great film with each other and keeping the chemistry.”

America Pie is widely considered to be the greatest sex comedy movie of all time. It starred Jason Biggs, Reid, Mena Suvari, Alyson Hannigan, Natasha Lyonne, Chris Klein, Eddie Kaye Thomas, Shannon Elizabeth Seann William Scott.
