Kanye West is considered a genius when it comes to being a businessman and also as an artist. As a balance, he falls very short when it comes to releasing music on time. This was especially true for the release of his ‘Donda’ album. Now it seems he will release a deluxe edition of the album as well.
For a long time fans were eagerly waiting for the release of Kanye West’s 10th studio album ‘Donda.’ West didn’t drop the album during his ‘Donda’ listening parties, which infuriated fans.
However, Kanye West finally dropped his ‘Donda’ album back in August. Fans and rappers alike were elated after waiting for so long. Now it seems the album has sold incredibly well. In fact, the album became a huge success sales-wise as well.
While speaking on N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN’s Drink Champs podcast, Kanye West officially announced that he will be releasing a deluxe edition of his tenth studio album, ‘Donda’. He is joining the trend for most major label rap projects lately.
“I wrote this song for Donda that we’re gonna bring out on the bonus album, on the deluxe,” he said before breaking out into song and delivering a rendition of the upcoming track. “‘If I let go, let God and let go/I gotta let it go/I gotta let’s go.’
And then it’s got this line that makes you think about Miami: ‘Flying to the Mondrian-drian/Dun dun dun.’ Actually it had a next line, but I like the opening line.”
Many fans already speculated the deluxe edition last week after they saw messages on various European Apple Music platforms that hinted at the release. Kanye West is also pulling for his album to win a Grammy award next year. We will have to wait and see how the deluxe edition will turn out to be.
