Kobe Bryant and his daughter, Gianna, were killed in a terrible helicopter crash. They were not the only lives lost that day as seven others were also on that flight. Now families of two of those victims won a big victory in court.

According to TMZ, two families of people on that helicopter reached a settlement with Los Angles County. There are two other cases, including Bryant’s, who are still in a legal battle with the county.

A total of $2.5 million will be approved between the families of Christine Mauser and Keri, John, and Alyssa Altobelli. Matthew Altobelli will receive $1.5 million and each child will split $1.25 million.

This is a big win in court, but it won’t take the pain of the loss away at all. Our thoughts are still with all those involved as they continue the grieving process.

Let’s get to know each other. Me? Well, I have a master’s degree in Journalism from Marshall University, but I don’t really like to talk about that. I was a stand-up comedian for eight years, but I don’t really like to talk about that either. I write a lot. I once worked for a company that writes blurbs for online gambling games. Those paid $.75 each. So, if you frequent that kind of thing, then you’re welcome for the description for Biker Chicken Slots or Crazy Granny’s Scratchers. I wish I had more to tell, but due to my crippling anxiety and Tourette’s Syndrome, that has become increasingly worse over the years, I tend to keep to myself.
