Kal Penn Comes Out Of The Closet By Announcing Engagement

Kal Penn, of Harold and Kumar and so much more, has come out of the closet. He did so in a fashion that was quite unique, because he’s already ready to settle down with Mr. Right.

Penn announced he is gay in the pages of his new book, one that also includes that he is getting married as well. The actor shared this news in “You Can’t Be Serious,” a book about his life. He let this information out as an excerpt over the weekend.

This relationship with Josh, Penn’s fiancé, is very serious and they’ve been together for 11 years. That was also something that he always kept out of the public.

“I’ve always been very public with everybody I’ve personally interacted with. Whether it’s somebody that I meet at a bar, if Josh and I are out or we’re talking to friends.” He adds, “I’m really excited to share our relationship with readers. But Josh, my partner, my parents, and my brother, four people who I’m closest to in the family, are fairly quiet. They don’t love attention and shy away from the limelight.”
