Mark Zuckerberg and his wife Priscilla are being sued by ex-household staff over allegations of harassment.

The Facebook founder and his wife are being sued for allegations of racist and homophobic abuse by the family’s former head of security according to Business Insider.

The lawsuit is being filed by Mia King, a Black woman who served as Zuckerberg and Chan’s former security operations assistant. Another man, who is gay, identified as John Doe. He is disabled and also worked as a household operations manager.

The two former staffers claim that they were victims of homophobic and racist abuse from Liam Booth, who worked as head of security for the Zuckerbergs.

It is alleged in the lawsuit that Booth frequently made racist remarks toward King, referring to her as “ghetto.” He also said that she was only hired because of her race. John Doe also claims that Booth abused him by making a number of homophobic comments toward him. Doe also alleges that Booth slapped his groin while at a sushi restaurant in 2018. Another incident from King claims that Booth blamed her car accident on an Asian woman. He allegedly pulled his eyes back to mock Asians and pass along the old stereotype that they can’t drive.

The New York Post received a statement from a representative of Zuckerberg and Chan which refuted the allegations: “In this case, almost all of the allegations in these complaints were first raised through counsel, after both employees had left the company, and in connection with significant monetary demands.”

This is a very new situation and all of the information is not known at this time. We will continue monitoring this story here at Thirsty.
