Teen Mom 2 star Ashley Jones’ mother has responded to the controversy surrounding Mackenzie McKee and Cheyenne Floyd by posting multiple stories on her Instagram account.

Tasheilia Chapple, the mother of Jones, uploaded the first story on the social media platform this Saturday. “Stop calling Black women angry because you can’t handle the heat or understand the energy,” she wrote.

She continued: “It’s rude, it’s not true. It’s like saying, ‘weak white women.’ So just stop saying it and get it out of your vocabulary.” She later posted another rant from her professional baking account.

“One thing I will never get over is how the #teenmom cast and fan base can be the R word at heart. I would be surprised but many of us been dealing with this all our lives Time to change this narrative.”
