Deshaun Watson doesn’t want to play for the Houston Texans anymore, something that he has made more than clear. Now it appears that a trade could be coming as he battles numerous sexual assault lawsuits.

The league is going to let Watson play for now. Watson has chosen not to play because he doesn’t want anything to do with the Texans organization. So, it is his call and not the team for him to sit out.

Over the past few weeks, rumors have come out that trade with Miami might happen. Watson could be a Dolphin sooner than later, but nothing has happened to that yet.

Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network spoke on the matter and he said that a trade should be coming by November 2nd.

“Based on everything I have heard, the belief is that something will happen involving a trade and Deshaun Watson before November 2nd. There’s been plenty of false starts and plenty of rumors around this. But the expectation is something will be completed by November 2nd,” Rapoport said. “Here’s where it stands. Multiple teams are still interested in trading for Deshaun Watson. There’s a report going around the league about the Dolphins, they are not alone. Among the teams that have been discussed over the past several months, the Panthers, the Broncos, the Eagles, and some others.”

We will have to see if the trade goes through. The NFL will let him play, but he is done with the Texans. Now a trade to the Dolphins might give him a fresh perspective.
