Chris Hemsworth truly made a name for himself by portraying the role of Thor, the God of Thunder in the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies. After Avengers: Endgame, half of the original Avengers have retired from active duty, with Hawkeye, Hulk and Thor being the only heroes left.
Thor is set to have a fourth solo film titled Thor: Love and Thunder and it seems Hemsworth has worked the hardest he ever has for the upcoming film. With Taika Watiti at the helm for the fourth film, there is undoubtedly a lot of anticipation for the film.
In Avengers: Endgame, Thor was seen to become overweight and depressed after losing his motivation to become an Avenger. He ultimately overcame his depression but remained very overweight throughout the film. The last series of photos from the set of the film showcased Thor working hard to get rid of his dad bod. Chris Hemsworth then revealed a photo where he looked insanely jacked.
According to The Story of Marvel Studios: The Making of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Chris Hemsworth became so buff that the initial measurements taken for the costume were simply were too small for him. This meant all of his costumes had to be changed up.
Due to this, the first Thor film might have been delayed. Thankfully, costume designer Alexandra Byrne and her team managed to adjust the costumes just on time. They managed to ensure that the film would not be delayed and this goes to show just how dedicated everyone at Marvel was.
Currently, no details regarding the plot for Thor: Love and Thunder have been revealed despite the film being officially announced back in 2019. The film is set to release on May 6, 2022. We will have to see how it will turn out to be.
