Bill Belichick is facing an identity crisis since losing superstar QB Tom Brady. The New England Patriots coach even went so far as to throw shade at his former QB.

During the Pats week 6 loss to the Dallas Cowboys, people noticed a strange cut on Belichick’s nose. It also appeared the 69-year-old coach had blood in and around his mouth.

The coach was asked about the injury during his weekly press conference on Wednesday. He gave a typical Belichick-style deadpan response.

“I think I’ll be all right.”

The non-answer leaves the nature of the bleeding open to speculation. Belichick has bigger fish to fry, as his Patriots are struggling in a way they haven’t since he took over as head man.

A 2-4 start to the season as taken some of the shine off Belichick’s Hall of Fame coaching career. The team has lost more over the past season and a half than they had in the previous three years combined with Brady.

Tom Brady plans to continue playing for as long as his body will let him. The star QB says he came down with COVID-19 after the Buccaneers championship parade. He has since recovered.
