Elvis Presley remains one of the most influential musicians to have ever stepped foot inside the world of music. The late singer was also called out recently for a weird reason. Now it seems someone close to Presley has passed away.

According to TMZ, Elvis Presley’s drummer Ronnie Tutt has passed away. He was 83 years old. Ronnie Tutt’s wife Donna stated that Tutt passed away due to natural causes at his home in Franklin, Tennessee. He was surrounded by family and went peacefully

Tutt’s wife stated that he had a longtime heart condition and there was nothing more doctors could do. She further added that “He couldn’t play another drum lick.”

Ronnie played Elvis Presley from 1969 until Elvis’ death in 1977. Ronnie was a member of  Takin’ Care of Business. The band backed up Presley during his performances in Las Vegas and other places. Elvis Presley Enterprises also released a statement regarding Tutt’s passing.
