In 2017, Murder, Inc. head Irv Gotti appeared on an episode of Everyday Struggle from Complex. Gotti spoke about the then-ongoing beef between rappers Lil’ Wayne and Birdman.

Gotti said that Wayne might perhaps be owed some money. He said to check the numbers. He encouraged Cash Money to cut Wayne a check.

Note that this statement was made four years ago. It happened in 2017. It is currently 2021. The world has been faced with a global pandemic. Birdman, however, refuses to be slighted, no matter how delayed.

He posted a clip on the interview on his Instagram. He also posted an unfriendly comment.

For his part, Birdman talked to The Big Game podcast, where he claims that he paid Lil’ Wayne $400-500 million, Drake $500 million, and Nicki Minaj between $300 and $400 million out of his own pocket after being paid himself by Universal.

Check out Birdman’s initial post below. Underneath that, you can watch the statement he made on The Big Game regarding payments to his top stars. That is a ludacrous amount of money.

Was Birdman out of line to dig up four year old dirt? Let us know in the comments!
