The heavyweight champion of the boxing world, Tyson Fury, is facing major heat after a video of him using the n-word was re-posted all over social media. Rapping along with The Notorious B.I.G., Fury placed extra emphasis on the line, “If you don’t know, now you know, n****.” The reaction on social media was as expected.

The famed heavyweight, no stranger to controversial wordplay, is holding a child in the viral video. Another child in the shot can also be heard plainly singing along as well.

After boldly proclaiming himself the king of the heavyweight boxing world and defeating Deontay Wilder, it seems that Fury just can’t stay away from controversy. While the video has seen it’s way around the internet back in 2020, the attention brought upon the champ after the big fight has caused it to resurface.

The last thing the world of boxing needs in the face of stiff competition from the UFC and other combat sports is more controversy. It was a bad look for Fury then, and according to Twitter, it’s even worse when the spotlight is shining the brightest.
