Boxer Adrien Broner Arrested On Outstanding Warrant

Boxer Adrien Broner is in jail now after being arrested for having an outstanding warrant on his name. This arrest took place around 1:00 AM on October 10th.

TMZ reports that Broner is now sitting in a jail cell after he was booked at the Kenton Country Jail in Kentucky. He also posed for an unhappy mugshot. His charges were rung up as a fugitive from another state, which is where the warrant came from.

It is reported that the circumstances surrounding his arrest are a bit unclear. There is no word on how the cops came in contact with him. What we do know is that the boxer is now in jail, the last place he’d like to be in.

His original charge originates from Cuyahoga County, where Cleveland is. There was an incident about a year ago where a woman claimed that he assaulted her at a nightclub. She sued him and won that case.

He failed to pay a $800k judgement in her favor and was thrown in jail for it last year. Perhaps this recent incarceration is another instance of the boxer losing his freedom because of that nightclub incident.
