Ronda Rousey and Travis Browne celebrated the birth of the couple’s first child just over a week ago. Mama is already getting back into shape and she showed off her results in an Instagram post for all to see.

The couple celebrated the birth of their daughter, La’akea Makalapuaokalanipō Browne, on September 27th. Rousey is concentrating on being a new mother and everything else that life can throw at her in the meantime. She isn’t making any future plans known at this point, but she is still recovering her body after giving birth 10 days ago.

The former WWE RAW Women’s Champion posted a couple of Instagram photos to share her experience. Right now she’s thinking about how her own mother went back to judo training 6 days after giving birth to her. Rousey isn’t going to break her mother’s record, but her body is recovering quickly.

10 days postpartum – my mom @annmaria7gen went back to training 6 days after having my sister Maria, then made weight and won the judo US Open 6 weeks later… when she was pregnant with me she only gained 12 pounds – and I was an 8 lbs baby!
I’ve decided to let her keep those records 😅
My body seems to be recovering faster than I hoped, but I won’t really know if Pō tossed a grenade on the way out till my 6 week checkup. Since breaking both my hands and getting pregnant it feels like I lost a lifetime of muscle – it’s easy to get discouraged over all that lost progress – but if anything I’m looking forward to getting cleared to train again even more. This is an opportunity start over and mold my body into its next phase (and yes that is a maternity bra and I did crop out the ice pack in my underwear)

Ronda Rousey has a ton of support at home and from fans. This is a very special time in her life as she adjusts to having another little one around Browsey Acres. It also seems that her body is ready for that next challenge as well.

Being in tune with pop culture doesn't mean it has to make sense, but he tries. Favorite bands include any group from Seattle who formed between 1991 and 1999. 5 Ozzfests under his belt and 12 Warped Tours, but his last concert was a bluegrass AC/DC cover band that was not 100% terrible.
