Fans Petition To Remove Tyra Banks From ‘Dancing With The Stars’

Tyra Banks received flack for her Britney Spears look during season 30 of Dancing With The Stars, and fans are still not happy with her. In fact, a petition was started by those fans calling out for Tyra’s removal.

Last season viewers were upset about the change from former hosts Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews. They started a petition then as well, but it wasn’t successful. Some are hoping this new outcry will, at least, get Tyra removed. If anything, they are certainly venting their frustrations.

The petition, posted on change.org, has 11,198 signatures as of the morning. Their original goal was just 500 signatures, but now they’re aiming at 12k.

The description for this petition is short and sweet. “Remove Tyra Banks as the host. Restore Dancing with the Stars to its former glory,” is all it says and that says plenty. Fans obviously don’t want to see Tyra Banks on their dance competition anymore.

Petitions to bring back Tom Bergeron to host with Banks are also floating around out there. We’ll have to see how effective they are, but it seems that the ABC show is still a smash hit and executives might need to see a lot more than 12,000 signatures to change their minds.
